LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The annual Nebraska Soybean Day and Machinery Expo is set for Dec. 19 in Wahoo. The event will provide soybean producers with information about the 2014 growing season. The expo runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Saunders County Fairgrounds. Presenters will include researchers and specialists from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Nebraska Soybean Board, soybean growers and private industry representatives. The Saunders County Soybean Growers Organization is asking each participant to donate one or more cans of nonperishable food to the food pantry. Registration is available at the door on the day of the expo. There is no registration fee. The program is sponsored by UNL's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Nebraska Soybean Board, the Saunders County Soybean Growers Organization and private industry.
