Donna Preston won high in the two tables of double pinochle played Monday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. John Bunnell took second place, and Maybelle Bowen was third.

Rusty Farr won high in the three tables of pitch played Tuesday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. Sheryl Holimon took second place, and Coleen Rupp was third.

Wide Awake 4-H Club
President Devin Doll called the Wide Awake 4-H Club's meeting to order on Jan. 14 at Plymell Elementary School.
Members said the Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H Pledge. Roll call was what was your favorite thing you got for Christmas.
Reading and approval of last month's minutes was followed by the treasurer's report, reporter's report, parliamentarian tip, leader's report and community service collections.
Under new business, the club voted to donate $50 to Honor Flight.
The club donated school supplies, snacks and clothing to the Hawk Pantry and Closet at Horace Good Middle School. Next month's community service project will be a card or craft for teachers and first responders.
Leaders reminded the club of beef tagging on March 23 and small ainimal weighing and tagging on April 13 and May 7. The Spring Show meeting and sewing camp will be Feb. 15. Members were reminded to pay their $5 enrollment dues. Hibler's goat sale is March 23.
After the club sang a song, Chase McGraw, Aaron Morales, Jaylee Speer and Jill and Anna Schmeeckle gave project talks.
The meeting was adjourned after recreation.
