Sidewalk Chalk contest: Garden City Arts’ 4th Annual Sidewalk Chalk Contest will be from 8 a.m. to noon at Stevens Park, where local artists will decorate the sidewalks with colorful, temporary works of art. Those in attendance can vote for their favorite piece of art. The winner will receive a cash prize and the 2018 People's Choice Award.
Harvest Flea Market: Featuring a farmers market and flea market experience with vendors offering food, furniture, artwork and more, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the west end of the parking lot at the Finney County Fairgrounds, 920 W. Finney County Fair: Featuring a variety of 4-H projects on display through today at the Finney County Fairgrounds in Garden City, carnival rides and attractions from 6 p.m. to midnight each day, and including a sidewalk chalk contest, kids pedal tractor pull, turtle races and other activities today, plus Phil Vandel in concert at 8:30 p.m. today.
