Touch a Truck: A family-friendly event that provides a fun way for families to explore vehicles they have seen in movies, books or just driving down the street. There will be emergency vehicles, forklifts, tow trucks and several others, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Finney County Fairgrounds parking lot in Garden City.

Harvest Flea Market: Featuring a farmers market and flea market experience with vendors offering food, furniture, artwork and more, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the west end of the parking lot at the Finney County Fairgrounds, 920 W. Silver Screen Saturday Night: Featuring the movie “The Emoji Movie,” 9:15 p.m. at Stevens Park in downtown Garden City.

Free concert: Featuring Al Miller, 6:30 p.m. at Stevens Park in downtown Garden City.

Musical program: High Plains Country Music Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers monthly program at the Memorial Building on Main Street in Lakin. Sign-up will begin at 1 p.m., with the program starting at 2 p.m. All area musicians are welcome to join in. There will be a short break for snacks. Feel free to bring a snack to share. Musical variety program: Featuring "The Happy Singers" directed by Ray Hineman, 7 p.m. at Garden Valley Retirement Village, 1505 E. Spruce St. Open to the public at no charge.

Blood drive: 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Morningside Community Church, 100 N. Apache, Montezuma.


Jungle Run IV Automobile Show: Featuring prize drawings, a 50/50 drawing, a prize raffle, giveaways, train rides, music, food and more on the West Green of Lee Richardson Zoo. Vehicle registration is from 8 to 11 a.m. at the gazebo on the West Green. The show will run until 2 p.m., followed by the awards presentation. The zoo will open at 8 a.m. for pedestrians and drive-through traffic with no early admittance. Pre-registration is $25 or $30 the day of the show. Dash plaques and goodie bags go to the first 75 entries. Annual Flea Market Festival of Antiques, Collectibles, Arts and Crafts: Featuring numerous artisans and vendors at the Finney County Museum on the Lee Richardson Zoo grounds north of the rhinos and giraffes, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free admission; enter through the zoo's pedestrian entrance arches.


Health Department and WIC

Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, and WIC are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; closed on Friday.
