“Healthy Eating, Healthy Living”: LiveWell Finney County community health workers will provide pre-diabetes screenings, self-monitoring blood pressure assistance and information on classes offered at their Neighborhood Learning Center, 10 a.m. to noon at El Remedio Market, 1005 E. Fulton St., and 2 to 4 p.m. at Savan Market, 713 E. Fulton St. Kansas State Extension Office nutrition assistants will offer tips on how to eat healthy. “Cinderella”: Garden City High School Drama Department's musical presentation at 7 p.m. April 6 and 7 and at 2:30 p.m. April 7 and 8 in the auditorium of GCHS, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and $5 for students. 

Broncbuster Rodeo: Garden City Community College will hold its 51st Annual Broncbuster Rodeo in the Broncbuster Horse Palace located by the Finney County Fairgrounds. Slack performances start at 10 a.m., with evening performances starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the door and cost $8 for adults, $4 for children 6-12, and children 5 and younger are free. "Spay-ghetti Dinner": Finney County Humane Society's fundraising dinner, 5 to 7 p.m. at Charles O. Stones Intermediate Center, 401 N. Jennie Barker Road. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children 10 and younger, and can be purchased at the Finney County Humane Society Animal Shelter or from FCHS board members.
