Navajo Taco Dinner: Featuring Navajo tacos, homemade pie, coffee and iced tea, 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, 306 N. Seventh St. A live auction will start at 6 p.m. Tickets are available in the church office at a cost of $7 in advance; at the door the cost is $8.
Dance: Featuring “The Clay Davenport Band,” 8 p.m. to midnight at the Eagles, 2603 N. Taylor. The dance is open to the public. Admission is $10 per person.
Daughters of Isabella Soup Supper: Featuring a menu of chili, chicken noodle soup, relishes, desserts and drinks, plus a raffle and silent auction, 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 205 N. Eighth St. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children age 5 to 12, and free for children age 4 and younger. All proceeds go to support the works of the Daughters of Isabella.
AKC Dog Show: Featuring obedience and rally trials, plus numerous vendors, 9 a.m. today and Sunday at the Finney County Fairgrounds in Garden City. Dogs not entered to show are not allowed in the buildings.
World Wildlife Day: Featuring keeper chats, discovery carts and other fun activities highlighting the big cats, 1:30 to 4 p.m. at Lee Richardson Zoo. The African lion keeper chat starts at 2 p.m., a Cat Canyon keeper chat at 3 p.m. and a leopard keeper chat at 3:30 p.m.
