Are you making a resolution to exercise more in 2018? Let the senior center help you! We have several classes offered each day to help you reach your goals and stay healthy. Each class is free to attend and can be joined at any time.

EnhanceFitness is on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2 p.m. This class is taught by a YMCA instructor and is an arthritis management program which focuses on cardiovascular endurance, balance, flexibility and strength to reduce arthritis symptoms.

Gentle Exercises begin every Tuesday and Friday at 11 a.m. This class teaches easy movements that can be done seated or standing and without breaking a sweat.

Line Dancing begins every Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. In this class you will learn dance steps to well-known country songs. If you enjoy music and exercise, this class is perfect for you.

Strength Training for Seniors meets every Monday and Thursday at 4 p.m. In this class you will use hand and ankle weights to help you build strength and improve your balance to help reduce falls. You choose how much weight to use — challenge yourself! Weights are provided.

Walking Club meets every Tuesday at 9 a.m. at WalMart (during the winter). Locations change as the seasons change to enjoy being outdoors.

Yoga begins every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. Yoga teaches slow, stretching movements and helps in overcoming limitations of the body. Bring a floor mat.

Thursday: TOPS, 9 a.m.; Ambassador Singers and Skip-Bo, 1 p.m.; strength training, 4 p.m.; yoga, 6 p.m.

Friday: Line dancing, 8:30 a.m.; a nurse from St. Catherine Hospital is here from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:45 p.m.; EnhanceFitness, 2 p.m.

Saturday: Quilts of Valor, 9 a.m.; the pool room is open from 1 to 4 p.m.; Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers, 5 to 9 p.m.

Sunday: Duplicate bridge, 2 p.m.

Monday: The senior center and Finney County Transit offices will be closed. Happy New Year!

Tuesday: Walking, 9 a.m. at Walmart; gentle exercise, 11 a.m.; pitch, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 1:15 p.m.; yoga, 6 p.m.

Jan. 3: Line dancing, 8:30 a.m.; pinochle, 12:30 p.m.; EnhanceFitness, 2 p.m.; dance featuring “Moonshiners,” 7:30 p.m. (recommended donation is $5).

Lunch menu

Lunch is served at noon.

Thursday: Barbecue chicken breast, baked potato with fixin’s, carrots, fruit.

Friday: Fried jumbo shrimp, macaroni and cheese, peas, tossed salad, cookie.

Monday: The senior center and Finney County Transit offices will be closed. Happy New Year!

Tuesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, capri vegetables, Oreo cookies.

Jan. 3: Sloppy Joe on a bun, au gratin potatoes, corn, tossed salad, fruit.
