Evening at the Museum: Featuring “Native American Heritage” by Debra Bolton, Ph.D., 7 p.m. in the meeting room of the Finney County Historical Museum, 403 S. Fourth St. Admission is free, with dessert and beverages provided. Those who attend should use the north entrance of the museum and are welcome to bring their own dinner, if desired.

Musical program: Featuring "The Road Runners," 7 p.m. at Homestead Assisted Living, 2414 N. Henderson St. Open to the public at no charge.

Musical variety program: Featuring ""The Double D's," 7 p.m. at Garden Valley Retirement Village, 1505 E. Spruce St. Open to the public at no charge.

Blood drive: Noon to 6 p.m. at Gray County Recreation Center, 17002 U.S. Highway 50, Cimarron; and 1:30 to 6 p.m. at Lane County Fairgrounds, 147 W. Long St., Dighton.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 18

Blood drive: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lane County Hospital, 243 S. Second, Dighton; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Catherine Hospital, 401 E. Spruce St.; noon to 6 p.m. at the William Carpenter Building, 606 N. Fairground Road in Scott City.

THURSDAY, OCT. 19

Blood drive: Noon to 6 p.m. at the Commercial Building, 1000 W. Patterson Ave., Ulysses.

FRIDAY, OCT. 20

Musical program: Featuring "Classic 3+1 Piano Man," 7 p.m. at Homestead Assisted Living, 2414 N. Henderson St. Open to the public at no charge.

SATURDAY, OCT. 21

“Boo! At the Zoo!”: Featuring a trick-or-treat trail with treat stations, creepy creature encounters with zoo docents and a journey through a ghoulish graveyard, 4 to 10 p.m. at Lee Richardson Zoo. The Safari Shoppe will sell Frankenweenies (hot dogs), Dippin’ Dots ice cream, and a variety of snacks and beverages. For more information, visit www.leerichardsonzoo.org.

Health Department and WIC

Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, and WIC are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; closed on Friday.
