Jacquelyn Lobmeyer and Trent Smith, both of Holcomb, were married June 18, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City. The 6 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. David Bell.

The bride's parents are Donald Lobmeyer and Christina Ladd, both of Garden City. She is the granddaughter of Agnes Stegman of Garden City.

The groom is the son of John and the late Pam Smith of Garden City.

Matron of honor was Rebecca Galliart of Holcomb. Bridesmaids were Shara Haselhorst of Antonino; and Michelle Peterson of Topeka. Junior bridesmaids were Kelli Sowers and Paige Smith, both of Holcomb.

Best man was Scott Smith of Sebastian, Fla. Groomsmen were Eric Matthews of Manhattan; and Skylar Swords of Garden City.

Ringbearers were Sutter and Aidan Smith of Holcomb.

Serving as ushers were Jonathan Lobmeyer of Seward, Neb.; and Jason Lobmeyer of Durango, Colo.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Garden City. Assistants were Loretta Tackett of Buda, Texas; and Patty Smith and Netty Bucy, both of Garden City.

The bride attends Friends University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, and works as a paraprofessional at Lewis, Hooper & Dick, LLC.

The groom graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in advertising and from Emporia State University with a master's degree in library science. He is the director of library services at Garden City Community College.

The newlyweds are at home in Holcomb.
