Angela Smith, of Prescott, Wash., and Jacob Adams, of Prescott and formerly of Garden City, were married July 14, 2012, in a 6 p.m., double-ring ceremony at the home of the bride's parents. The ceremony and following reception took place in the back yard of the home.
The bride is the daughter of Glen and Adelle Smith of Waitsburg, Wash. Her grandmother is Irma Smith of Waitsburg.
The groom's parents are Bill and Ann Adams of Garden City; and Gayla and Randy Bural of Lees Summit, Mo. His grandparents are Doris Adams-McMichael of Lakin; and Gary and Linda Spikes of Garden City.
Matron of honor was Stephanie Hinchliffe of Waitsburg. Bridesmaid was Jane Waldher of Waitsburg.
Best man was Jordan Adams of Garden City. Groomsman was Greg Smith, the bride's brother from Waitsburg.
Music for the wedding and dance was provided by "The Frog Hollow Band."
The wedding had a cowgirl/cowboy theme as Angela is a barrel racer with her mother.
The bride graduated from Waitsburg High School and from Washington State University in 2007. She is a second-grade teacher at Vista Hermosa Elementary School in Prescott.
The groom graduated from Garden City High School in 2007 and from Oklahoma College of Construction in Oklahoma City. He is employed by Broughton Land Company in Dayton, Wash.
The newlyweds are at home in Prescott.
