Ashland 40, South Gray 28

Madison Dirks had 10 points for the South Grady Lady Bulldogs in a 40-28 loss to Ashland in Game 5 of the SPIAA basketball tournament hosted by Spearville.

Dirks split her scoring between a pair of scores inside the 3-point line and two more outside of the arc.

However, it was not enough to overcome Ashland's Canaan Endicott's three 3-pointers en route to a game-high 14 points.

Ingalls 50, Kiowa County 34

The Ingalls Lady Bulldogs utilized balanced scoring to defeat Kiowa County 50-34 in Game 7 of the SPIAA basketball tournament hosted by Spearville.

The Lady Bulldogs had four plays with at least nine points, led by Kaisha Batman's 16 points on six 2-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws. Bulma Galaviz chipped in 11 points, while Hope Beach and Rebecca Wyatt each had nine.

Kiowa County was led by Heather Melton, who dropped in 10 points.
