Janell Marie McDonald and 1st. Lt. Brian Baldwin, USMC, were married June 3, 2011, at Naval Submarine Base, Point Loma in San Diego. Chaplain Robert Feagle officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Scott and Shirley McDonald of Satanta. She is the granddaughter of Anna McDonald of Hutchinson.
Parents of the groom are Gary and Marilyn Baldwin of Palm Desert, Calif.
Matron of honor was Natalie Michels, the bride's sister from Lincoln, Neb. Maid of honor was Lana McDonald, the bride's sister from Satanta. Bridesmaids included Stephanie Woolfolk of Sublette; and Emily Pinaire of Junction City.
Groomsmen included Jared Trawick, Keith Lathrop, Kyle Lathrop and Ellis Cleveland Langford III, all from Palm Desert.
The flower girl was Emerie Woolfolk of Sublette.
Natalie Michels sang "Love Never Fails" and a sword arch by the Marines concluded the ceremony. A reception was held at the Oceanview Room on the base.
The bride attended the University of Kansas and received a bachelor's degree in graphic design.
The groom graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with an undergraduate degree in sociology. He recently earned his "wings of gold" and was selected to fly the F/A-18 Hornet for the Marine Corps at MCAS Miramar in San Diego.
The couple recently moved to San Diego.
