"Welcome Winter Festival" Bazaar: Deerfield United Methodist Church's event will feature crafts, bakery goods, a silent auction and more, beginning at 9 a.m. at Deerfield Community Center in Deerfield. A dinner of country store roast, $8, and chili, $6 (includes drink and dessert) will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Musical program: Featuring The Cimarron Fiddlers, Pickers & Singers, 4 to 9 p.m. at Gray County Over 50 Inc., 221 S. Main St., in Cimarron. A covered-dish supper will begin at 6 p.m. For more information, call Shirley Ball at 277-2056 or 272-4838.

"Beauty and the Beast": Garden City Community College's fall musical production at 2 p.m. today and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6, 7 and 8 in the theater of the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building at GCCC, 801 Campus Drive. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 12 and younger. Tickets on sale in advance 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Saffell Library, or one hour before each show in the fine arts lobby.

Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday (no walk-ins accepted after 5:45 p.m.). Friday hours are 8 a.m. to noon (office is closed the first Friday of each month).

Kan-Be-Healthy, Southwest Kansas WIC Program, maternal and infant, and family planning require appointments by calling the health department (272-3600) or WIC (272-3615).
