Christine Fry, of Bartlesville, Okla., and Matthew Patterson, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., were married Dec. 1, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alva, Okla. The 4:30 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Festus Maliwa.
Parents of the bride are Gary and Veronica Fry of Bartlesville. Her grandparents are Melvin and Violet Fry of Garden City; and Robert and LaRue Robinson of Garden City.
The groom's parents are Paul Patterson of Mesa, Ariz.; and Patricia Patterson of Highlands Ranch. He is the grandson of Jim and Virginia Patterson of Mesa; and Dewey and Corrine Good of Camarillo, Calif.
Maid of honor was Jacqueline Fry of Olathe. Bridesmaids were Samantha Marez of Shawnee, Okla.; Jena Seiler of Conway Springs; and Erin Davis of Tulsa, Okla.
Best man was Ryan Patterson of Mesa. Groomsmen were Adam Comacho of Grand Junction, Colo.; and David Seifried and Sean Cowan, both of Highlands Ranch.
Serving as ushers were Jonathan Fry of Mooresville, N.C.; and Andrew Fry of Bartlesville.
Organist was Dr. Kathryn Lindberg.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at Act 1 Community Theater in Alva.
The bride graduated from Garden City High School in 2003 and from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in mass communications. She is an administrative assistant for an optometrist.
The groom graduated from Thunder Ridge High School in 2002 and from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is an estimator for Sturgeon Electric.
After a wedding trip to Winter Park, Colo., the newlyweds are at home in Gilbert, Ariz.
