Dwayne and Leona Funk, of Clinton, Okla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Vangie Leona Funk, to Roman Daniel Rodriguez, the son of Dr. Paul and Nancy Rodriguez of Wichita.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Joan Chiddix of Mt. View, Okla.; and Harry and Esther Funk of Newton. Her fiancé is the grandson of Eyvonne Crase of Garden City; and Sophia Rodriguez Spencer of Wichita.

The bride-to-be and her fiancé graduated from Corn Bible Academy in Corn, Okla., and are students at Friends University in Wichita. She is employed by Friends University Student Affairs and Kohl's. He is employed by Friends University Communications.
