Whitaker-Smith

Bruce and Joyce Whitaker of Sublette announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Elizabeth, to Andrew Jackson Smith, the son of Charles and Winona Smith of Great Bend.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 home-school graduate, a 2005 graduate of Fort Hays State University and a 2008 graduate of Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, Mo.

Her fiancé is a 1999 graduate of Great Bend High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of Kansas and attends Saint Paul School of Theology.

The bride-to-be and her fiancé are United Methodist clergy and will serve in the McLouth and Winchester United Methodist Churches.

A June wedding is planned.
