Wells-Martin

Martin and Michelle Wells of Garden City announce the engagement of their daughter, Darcy, to Bryon Martin, the son of Mark and Brenda Martin of Neosho Rapids.

The bride-to-be graduated from Emporia State University in May 2005 with a bachelor's degree in health promotions.

Her fiance graduated from Flint Hills Technical College in 2003 with an associate degree in power plant technology. He is employed by Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corp.

The wedding is planned for Nov. 22, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia.
