Glass: Downtown Vision looking toward the future

By The Telegram

In this week's edition of Talk of the Town, we talk with Beverly Schmitz Glass, executive director of Garden City Downtown Vision, about the future of Garden City's downtown.

Glass explains Downtown Vision's new mission — to make downtown Garden City the most identifiable commercial destination in southwest Kansas — and explains the organization's focus on recruiting and retaining retail while opening opportunities for second-story residences.

She also talks about a few upcoming prospects and projects for downtown.
