Georgia L. Hoffman, 69, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

She was born July 26, 1938, in Satanta, to Harold R. and Matilda T. Lohfink Hoffman.

A Garden City resident since 1998, moving from Tyrone, Okla., Mrs. Hoffman was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Burlington, Colo.

On June 5, 1960, she married Gerald L. Nothdurft in Goodland. He died Feb. 12, 2003. She also was preceded in death by her father, two nephews and a niece.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley D. Nothdurft and Sherry D. Nothdurft, both of Garden City; her mother, Tillie Wheeler of Cimarron; three brothers, Walter D. Hoffman of Garden City, and T.C. and Eugene R. Hoffman, both of Holcomb; and two sisters, Patricia E. Wallace of Garden City, and Joyce E. St. John of Tribune.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Garden City, with the Rev. Richard A. Wood officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
