Carol G. Hull

MONTEZUMA -- Carol G. Hull, 96, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008.

She was born Dec. 25, 1911, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, to John G. and Ada Frances Dillon Nichols.

On Sept. 20, 1933, she married Dr. Amzy A. Hull at the Nichols home in Belle Plaine. The couple then moved to Montezuma, living there until their retirement to Augusta in 1975.

Survivors include a daughter, Sally Wiebe of Derby; a son, Amzy A. "Jim" Hull Jr. of Augusta; four grandsons; three granddaughters; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jeannette Roushar Bowman.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Montezuma, with the Rev. Jerry Odle officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Montezuma.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Montezuma Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Montezuma United Methodist Church or Leon United Methodist Church, both in care of the funeral home, Box 421, Montezuma, KS 67867.
