Imogene L. Quint, 89, a lifetime resident of Garden City, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at her home in Garden City.

She was born Feb. 18, 1919, in Garden City, to Walter H. and Anna Immroth Brennaman. She attended Garden City schools, graduating from Garden City High School.

On Aug. 4, 1941, she married Raymond E. Quint at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City.

Mrs. Quint spent most of her life as a homemaker and also worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for the family business, Quint Automotive. She enjoyed her grandchildren, collecting dolls, traveling, fishing and watching Quint Automotive softball teams over the years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Senior Center of Finney County and volunteered at St. Catherine Hospital for 35 years.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Linda Roth of Garden City; two sons, Michael Quint of Garden City, and Danny Quint of Northfield, Minn.; a brother, Fred Brennaman of Garden City; two sisters, Deloris Brennaman Wilson of Kansas City, Kan, and C.B. Long of Hutchinson; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 64 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gerald Quint; two brothers, Wayne and W.H. "Bus" Brennaman; and five sisters, Marjorie Morgan, Gladys Pounds, Bertha McGaughey, Ann Whitman and Mary Cross.

Vigil service and rosary will be 7 tonight at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Garden City, with the Rev. Trong Tran officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.

Visitation is until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent at garnandfh@sbcglobal.net. Memorials are suggested to the St. Mary School Endowment Fund or St. Catherine Hospice, both in care of the funeral home, 412 N. Seventh St., Garden City, KS 67846.
