Juanita G. Reimer Love

SATANTA -- Juanita G. Reimer Love, 85, of Satanta, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at Satanta Long Term Care Unit, where she had been a resident.

She was born July 16, 1923, in McPherson, to Samuel Franklin and Ollie Phillips Helsel.

Mrs. Love was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Happy Agers, both at Satanta.

On May 9, 1942, she married John Reimer in Alva, Okla. He died May 5, 1981. On Jan. 20, 1989, she married Minor Love in Arkansas City. He died Oct. 27, 1999. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Patrick R. Hockett; and five brothers, Raymond, Everett, Frank, Wesley and Lewis Helsel.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Ledenham of Exeter, Mo., Betty Wright of Sublette, Crystal Coffman of Paola, and Marilyn Welch of Wellington; a brother, Ralph Helsel of Wichita; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Satanta, with the Rev. Kelvin Heitmann officiating. Burial will be in Dudley Township Cemetery, Satanta.

Visitation hours are noon to 8 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Haskell County Funeral Home, Sublette. Memorials are suggested to Satanta Long Term Care Unit or Dudley Township Library at Satanta, both in care of the funeral home, Box 607, Sublette, KS 67877.
