Angelia 'Angie' Janine Dale

HUGOTON -- Angelia "Angie" Janie Dale, 31, Bucklin, and longtime Hugoton resident, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Ford County.

She was born June 27, 1978, in Ulysses to Steven Lynn and Carla S. Ashlock Showers.

She graduated from Hugoton High School in 1996. In high school, she was on the drill team and was a cheerleader.

Miss Dale worked as a secretary for several years, and worked at the Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Hugoton and attended the Baptist Church in Dodge City.

She loved her two sons, was outgoing and loved life. Her hobbies were bowling, volleyball and dancing.

Survivors include her two sons, Hunter Dale and Austin Dale, of Bucklin; her parents, of Hugoton; one brother, Nathan Showers, of Noble, Okla.; one sister, Nichole Reeves, of Elkhart; her grandparents, Norma and Lawrence Adams, Bogue, Cecil and Lucille Ashlock, of Grain Valley, Mo.; and uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenneth Showers.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Paul's Funeral Home, Hugoton.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Hugoton, with Randy Nash, minister, presiding. Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.
