SCOTT CITY -- Dwight F. Krebs, 56, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at his home in Logan County.He was born Feb. 26, 1953, in Scott City, to Floyd Milton and Georgia Corinne Whitham Krebs.
A lifetime resident of Scott and Logan counties, Mr. Krebs was a cattleman and a rancher. He was a member of Gateway Fellowship Church at Oakley, KCA, R-CALF and AOPA, and a lifetime member of AQHA and FQHR.
Survivors include a daughter, Christianne Barnett of Colby; a grandson; a granddaughter; his former wife, Cheri Krebs of Scott City; his mother, of Scott City; and two sisters, Debra Dallas of Denver, and Dianne Unruh of Scott City. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Scott City, officiated by Richard VanWinke, pastor, and the Rev. Dennis Carter. Burial will be at Scott County Cemetery, Scott City.
Visitation hours are until 8 tonight, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Scott City. Condolences may be sent at www.priceandsons.com or pricefh@wbsnet.org. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Dwight F. Krebs Scholarship Fund, in care of the funeral home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, KS 67871.

He was truly one of the finest men I have ever known. A true friend, Dwight cared about everyone.
