Seth Ochoa

Seth F. Ochoa, 30, of Thornton, Colo., and a former Garden City resident, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, near Castle Rock, Colo.

He was born Oct. 9, 1979, in Garden City, to Moses Manuel and Mary Jane Morales Ochoa, and attended Garden City schools.

For most of his life, Mr. Ochoa had lived in Garden City before moving to the Denver area in 2005. While living in Garden City, he worked as a tire technician for Kansasland & Tire and for Firestone. He had been working for TDS since living in Colorado. His hobbies included spending time with his children, family and friends. He also enjoyed music, playing the drums and attending concerts.

Survivors include his parents, of Garden City; his wife, Bobbie Flowers, a son, Joshua Orion Ochoa, and two stepdaughters, Breanna and Cameron Colburn, all of Thornton; and two brothers, Moses Micah Ochoa of Garden City, and Elijah F. Ochoa of Denver.

A memorial service was to begin at 2 p.m. today at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 9998 Grant St., Thornton. An additional memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City. The service in Garden City will be conducted by the English Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent at garnandfh@sbcglobal.net.
