Carolyn Wright

SCOTT CITY — Carolyn Sue Wright, 61, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.

She was born Feb. 26, 1948, in Scott City, to Robert Carrol and Lottie Agnes Wimer Green.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, Mrs. Wright was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both at Scott City.

On Feb. 28, 1966, she married Harold D. Wright in Eads, Colo. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Deanna Kennedy and Crystal Wright, both of Scott City, and Brenda Bremer of Holcomb; a brother, Robert C. Green of Yuma, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Frank A. and Jimmie L. Green; and a grandson.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Scott City, with the Rev. Kyle Evans officiating. Burial will be at Scott County Cemetery, Scott City.

Visitation hours are 5 to 8 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Scott City.
