Brenda Hill

Published 2/2/2010 in Obituaries

Brenda Hill, 50, of Sand Springs, Okla., died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born Aug. 28, 1959, in Tribune, one of four children born to Rodger Keith and Ethel Sons Kuder. She attended schools in Greeley County.

On Feb. 21, 1976, she married Garry Hill in Tribune. A homemaker, her family and family activities took highest priority with her, especially her grandchildren. She was known as one of those people who could make flowers of every kind grow with abandon and beauty and her yard was a showplace for that talent, always alive with color.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Shawna Nation of Collinsville, Okla.; three sons, Travis and Ryan Hill, both of Sand Springs, and Eric Hill of Tulsa; 10 grandchildren; her mother, of Tribune; two sisters, Lisa Larkin and Tracy Langdon, both of Tribune; and a brother, Monte Kuder of Scranton. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral was to be 2 p.m. today at Community Assembly Church, 9707 Heritage Hills Drive in Sand Springs, with the Rev. Jimmy Noe officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford, Okla.

Condolences and messages to the family may be sent at www.mobley-dodsonfuneralservice.com. Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs was in charge of arrangements.
