Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations
Friday
Alma Dominguez, 27, 509 N. 12th St., was arrested at 2:15 a.m. in the 100 block of North 12th Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license. She also was cited for no proof of current insurance.
Alvin Godley, 59, 2605 E. Fair St., Apt. 6, was arrested at 5 a.m. in the 1100 block of Bancroft Street on an allegation of driving while suspended.
Thursday
Irma Ramos, 32, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 9, was cited and released at 3:25 p.m. in the 400 block of Jennie Barker Road on an allegation of no valid driver's license.
Marcus Roady, 21, 811 N. Seventh St., was arrested at 3:35 p.m. in the 800 block of North Seventh Street on two warrants for review and a warrant from Sedgwick County for possession of opiates.
Francisco Perea, 21, 5963 Old Post Road, was cited and released at 9:04 p.m. in the 300 block of East Fulton Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license and no proof of current insurance.
Raul Ventura, 17, 2808 Terrace Place, Apt. 2, was arrested and released to Programs Assessment Treatment Habilitation, 2701 N. 11th St., at 10:25 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Taylor Avenue on an allegation of no valid driver's license. He was later lodged at the Juvenile Detention Center, 507 W. Santa Fe St., on an arrest-and-detain order.
Jennifer Timberlake, 26, 3788 W. Jones Ave., was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center, 304 N. Ninth St., on a Finney County warrant for theft, worthless checks, conspiracy and theft by deception. She turned herself in.
Ethan Brooks, 19, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 628, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. in the 4100 block of East U.S. Highway 50 on a Woods County, Okla. warrant for possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.
Thefts/Loses
Between 4 and 4:30 p.m. at Garden City Community College, 801 Campus Drive, someone took a debit card. The suspects then used the card to rent movies and purchase food. Loss $40. Investigation continues.
Criminal Damage
Thursday
Between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Long Boulevard, someone scratched two vehicles. Loss $800.
Jan. 30
At 5:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of Campus Drive, someone brandished a weapon and hit a person. Investigation continues.
Wednesday
Between 1 and 1:30 p.m. at First National Bank, 908 N. Main St., someone attempted to cash a forged check. Investigation continues.
Between Jan. 1, 2009, and 5:34 p.m. Wednesday at Garden City Community College, 801 Campus Drive, someone used a computer to hack into other e-mail accounts to take money. Unknown loss.
