Finney County Sheriff Kevin Bascue said his office is investigating an alleged sexual assault of a 3-year-old boy in Holcomb in late April.

Bascue said deputies met with the child's mother April 29 at St. Catherine Hospital, where she informed them her son had been sodomized.

Hernan Rivas-Fletes, 31, Holcomb, was arrested Thursday on an allegation of aggravated criminal sodomy.

As of this morning, Rivas-Fletes still is lodged in the Finney County Jail.
