Arrests/Citations

Today

Marcos Rivera, 23, 3985 Nancy Ave., was cited and released at 12:01 a.m. at Garden Bowl, 1501 Taylor Ave., on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Thursday

Jesus Pichardo-Perez, 18, 1206 N. 10th St., was arrested at 11:26 p.m. in the 900 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of driving with a suspended license and a failure-to-appear municipal warrant for a seat violation allegation.

Michael Wohler, 29, 307 Florence Ave., was cited and released at 9:20 p.m. in the 300 block of Florence Avenue on an allegation of noisy animals that occurred March 12.

Kyle Mclinn, 21, 808 N. Main St., Apt. 8, was cited and released at 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Sean Beck, 21, 803 N. Fourth St., was cited and released at 6:45 p.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Maria Ortiz-Corrales, 22, 509 W. Campbell St., Apt. A, was cited and released at 10:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Campbell on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Valente Loera, 26, 401 Hudson St., was arrested at 12:27 a.m. at Community Corrections, 601 N. Main St., on an arrest-and-detain order.

Jose Topete, 18, 65 S. Farmland Road, Lot 11, was cited and released at 2:25 p.m. in the 1100 block of Belmont Place on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Freddie Martinez, 31, 203 W. Fair St., was arrested at 1:48 p.m. in the 200 block of Fair Street on an allegation of obstruction and city warrants for allegations of driving with a suspended license and speeding.

Thefts/Losses

Today

At 2:35 a.m. at Time Out Sports Bar & Grill, 1319 N. Taylor Ave., a known person attempted to take alcohol from the business. Business declined to prosecute. Loss $125.

Thursday

Between 6:15 and 6:20 p.m. at Dillons, 1211 W. Buffalo Jones Ave., someone entered an unsecured vehicle and took a stereo. Loss $200.

Between 5:15 and 9:45 p.m. in the 500 block of St. John Street, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and took a purse. Loss $327.

March 10

Between March 1 and March 10 in the 400 block of North Seventh Street, someone took a decal sticker from a license plate. Loss $3.

Criminal damage

Today

At 4:10 a.m. in the 1500 block of North 12th Street, someone used an unknown object to break a residential window. Loss $50.

Thursday

Between 5:30 and 7 p.m. in the 600 block of Briar Hill Drive, someone used an unknown object to scratch two vehicles. Loss $1,500.

Between noon on Wednesday and 11 a.m. on Thursday at Mid-American Fuel, 1621 Kansas Plaza, someone damaged a coin changer. Loss $200.

Between midnight and 6 p.m. in the 600 block of North 11th Street, someone painted graffiti on a fence. Loss $75.

Miscellaneous

Monday

Between March 13 and Monday in the 1500 block of East Kansas Avenue, a known person falsified two checks. Investigation continues.

Finney County Sheriff's Office

Thursday

Gregory Alan Ledwell, 31, Scott City, was arrested at 9:05 a.m. in Finney County on a failure-to-appear bench warrant.

George Hunter Jr., 43, 306 College Drive, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. in Finney County on an allegation of domestic battery.

Garden City Fire Department

Thursday

At noon at 712 N. Fourth St. — motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

At 3:56 p.m. at 807 Teitelbaum Ave. — animal rescue.

At 7:47 p.m. at 308 E. Johnson St. — carbon monoxide incident.
