A Dodge City woman suffered injuries Monday afternoon in an accident in Gray County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2001 Ford Focus driven by Matthew Butler, 28, Cimarron, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 50, near milepost 98.1 at the Kansas Highway 23/U.S. Highway 50 junction, when the vehicle went left of center and struck an eastbound 1999 Ford Escort driven by Alicia Deras, 45, Dodge City. Deras' vehicle then struck a 2007 Dodge van, also eastbound, driven by Paul Kornechuk Jr., 67, Dodge City.

Butler and Kornechuk were not injured. Deras was taken to Western Plains Hospital. Staff at Western Plains said Deras wasn't a patient at the hospital as of this morning.

Everyone involved in the accident was wearing a seat belt.
