Sports: GCHS bowlers roll on the road

The Garden City High School bowling teams swept Liberal on the road Tuesday. The boys team won 2,684-2,358, and the girls team held off the Lady Redskins 2,230-2,202.

The Buffaloes received a monstrous effort from senior Dylan Burns with a 799 series. He started strong with a 279 in the first game, then followed with a 231 and a 289. Justin Perez followed for the Garden City boys with an impressive 638.

On the girls side, Morgan Landgraf bowled a 613 series to pace the Lady Buffs. Ashley Kells wasn't far behind with a 596.
