GCHS debate fifth at Goddard

The Garden City High School debate team claimed a fifth-place finish in the Class 6A two-speaker debate championships Jan. 23 at Goddard.

GCHS seniors Alonso Pena and Shelby Twiss went 4-2 to break into the elimination rounds to finish in fith place at the tournament, which was attended by 73 teams.
