A covenant marriage ceremony took place Jan. 9, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Holcomb, with the Revs. Jon Becker and Randy Caddell officiating the 2 p.m., double-ring ceremony.

The groom's parents are Ron and Juanita Jameson of Garden City. He is the grandson of Bonnie Jameson of Garden City; Elmer Gerstberger of Leoti; the late Isabel Gerstberger; and the late William Jameson.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother, Sherri Weippert.

Music selections included George Strait's "I Cross My Heart," Martina McBride's "I Just Call You Mine" and Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing."

The ceremony was followed by a reception, given by Sherri and Danny Weippert, at the church in Holcomb. Assistants were Trista Schmitt of Manhattan; and Miranda Unruh of Deerfield.

The bride graduated from Holcomb High School. A full-time student at Garden City Community College, she is finishing up her last year of the nursing program, planning to complete her associate's degree in nursing in May to become a registered nurse. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse at Mosaic.

The groom graduated from Garden City High School and from the 184th Basic Academy Class at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center. He is a deputy sheriff with the Wichita County Sheriff's Department.

After their marriage in Las Vegas, the newlyweds remained there for their honeymoon before returning to Leoti where they reside.
