Engagement: Wigner-Ekholm

Larry and Joyce Wigner, of Liberal and formerly of Garden City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Wigner, to Joshua Ekholm of McPherson. He is the son of Richard and Julie Ekholm of Inman.

Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Liberal High School, graduated from Kansas State University in 2005 and from Washburn University in 2007 with a master's degree in criminal justice. She is employed by American Family Insurance in Wichita. Her grandmother is Maxine Saiz of Garden City.

Joshua is a 2000 graduate of McPherson High School and a 2004 graduate of Kansas State University, where he majored in agriculture technology management and minored in business. He is employed by Agco in Hesston.

The couple plans to marry April 17, 2010, in a 5 p.m. ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church in McPherson.
