The Senior Center will be hosting a candidate forum at 7 p.m. Thursday. Come and hear from the candidates running for county commissioner for District 4. Each candidate will be given 10 minutes to address the pressing issues. After hearing from all the candidates, we will open the floor up for questions from the audience.
Elections will be held Tuesday. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn from the candidates and exercise your right to vote.
Thursday: TOPS meet at 8:30 a.m. The art class meets at 10 a.m. The Ambassador Singers practice at 1 p.m. The candidate forum will begin at 7 p.m.
Friday: Line dancing starts at 8:30 a.m., followed by STEPS at 10 a.m. A nurse is available from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Bridge begins at 12:45 p.m. Be sure to visit the Finney County Fair.
Saturday: The pool room is open in the afternoon.
Monday: Humdinger Band practices at 12:30 p.m. Bridge and double pinochle begin at 12:45 p.m. The Upbeats practice at 3 p.m. Duplicate bridge is at 7 p.m.
Tuesday: Pitch is played at 12:45 p.m.
Aug. 4: Line dancing starts at 8:30 a.m. STEPS begin at 10 a.m. Pinochle starts at 12:45 p.m. Completely Unraveled meets at 1 p.m. The dance at 7:30 p.m. will feature "The Last Resort." The recommended donation is $4 per person. Bring finger food for the break.
Lunch is served at noon.
Thursday: Taco salad, Mexi-corn, tortilla chips, sherbet.
Friday: Pepper steak, steamed rice, diced tomatoes, wheat bread, rosy applesauce.
Monday: Swedish meatballs, butter noodles, cucumber and onion salad, wheat roll, tropical fruit.
Tuesday: Roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cauliflower with cheese sauce, fruit muffin, blueberry crisp.
Aug. 4: Grilled chicken and gravy, au gratin potatoes, Harvard beets, wheat roll, citrus fruit.
