The South Gray Rebels went 5-4 in the 2008 football season and then watched as standout quarterback Chet Skinner graduated onto the college scene.

Their head coach, Joe Price, has departed and he is being replaced by Jeff Blattner.

Four seniors will likely be the foundation for this year's team. That group includes Marshall Carter (5-11, 200), Dylan Neuschafer (5-9, 200), Zach Hibbert (5-8, 185) and Levi Kemper (6-0, 260).

Sophomore Storm Mosher (5-10, 165) should be one of the top players for the Rebels. Juniors Garrison Hendricks (5-8, 150), Tanner Dirks (6-0, 165), and Lane Hedlund (5-10, 230) will be counted on for bringing experience to the team.

Sophomores joining Mosher include Brett Bullinger (5-7, 130), Coulter Croft (5-8, 140), Hunter Brown (5-7, 135) and Dustin Kirby (6-2, 190) all will be counted on for contributions this season.

The Rebels play in the difficult SPIAA and will be looking to find that identity that leads to success for 2009.
