Do not put the state income tax needs on sales tax or increase residential property tax. The low-income and most Social Security-income people cannot afford any more increased costs and both of these could increase their hardships and would probably wind up costing more than was gained. A great many types of tax revenue income in years past have become tax-exempt. Right now the only option available is the income tax. The taxable should be re-established to three levels 35 percent, 55 percent and 75 percent and the top tier might need to go to 95 percent next year. These problems are not going to get better by creating more homeless and home foreclosures. Do what needs to be done.
