Kerri Ione Myers and Ryan Homan, both of Omaha, Neb., were married July 16, 2011, in a 5 p.m. ceremony at the First United Methodist Church of Garden City. The Rev. David Bell officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Craig and Ann Myers of Garden City; and Mike and Sheryl Homan of Papillion, Neb. The bride's grandmothers are Carolyn Myers of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Ione Toll of Lindsborg. The groom's grandparents are Jerome and Betty Rotert of Huron, S.D.; and Lucille Homan of Sturgis, S.D.

The bride's sister, Jessica Myers, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kylee Gardner, Kristan Barleen, Heather Bruntz and Stephanie Wiggington, sister of the groom.

The best man was Scott Homan, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Belt, Dave Shulz, Justin Belt and Brett Myers, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Zach Wiggington, brother-in-law of the groom; Matt Kudron; and Scott Moon.

The flower girls were Alexa Wiggington, niece of the groom; and Madison and Samantha Tidgewell, cousins of the bride. The ring bearer was Spencer Charron, cousin of the groom. The candle lighter was April Bucshelman, Scripture was read by Sam Funk.

Linda Rishel was the organist, Tammy Bunney was the pianist, and Kelly Stevenson and Neely Wasinger were vocalists. Musical numbers included "Parent's Prayer," "In This Very Room," "Love Never Ends" and "When God Made You."

The guest book attendant was Emily Johnsrud. The gift table was attended by the groom's cousins, Brittany and Taylar Rotert.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Clarion Inn following the ceremony. Hostesses were Krista Martin, aunt of the bride; and Janine Funk. Assistants were Kathy Toll, Chardell Parke and Deidre Myers, aunts of the bride.

The bride and groom enjoyed a honeymoon to Cozumel, Mexico, and now are at home in Omaha, where they are both high school math teachers. The bride teaches at Papillion-LaVista South High School and the groom at Bellevue East High School.
