Danielle Nichols and Steven Schupman, both of Garden City, were married June 9, 2012, at the Eagles Lodge in Garden City. The Rev. Kelly Stevenson officiated the 4 p.m., double-ring ceremony.
The bride's parents are Mike and Buffi Brimm, and Kip and Bethany Nichols, all of Garden City. Her grandparents are Daniel and Debra Bohannon, Judy Martin and the late Leo "Buck" Martin, Kaye Nichols and the late Beverly Nichols, Patsy Brimm and Debra Colburn, all of Garden City.
The groom's parents are Mike Schupman and Jeri Ann Winkler-Schupman of Garden City. His grandparents are Joyce and Ronnie Roads of Wichita; Jerry Winkler of Cherryvale; and Terry Stickney and the late Mary Stickney of Garden City.
Maid of honor was Shayla Seibert of Garden City. Bridesmaid was Yuriko Castro of Garden City.
Best man was Mike Brimm, the bride's stepfather from Garden City.
Candle lighter was Morgan Quimby, the bride's cousin from Larned.
Flower girl was Makayla Teakell, the groom's cousin from Wichita. Ringbearer was Karsten Nichols, the bride's brother from Garden City.
Serving as ushers were Jake Newsome, the groom's cousin from Garden City; Jeff Quimby, the bride's cousin from Larned; and Jared Schupman, the groom's brother from Garden City.
The bride's father, Kip Nichols of Garden City, was the soloist. Music selections included "I Loved Her First" by Heartland and "I Will Be Here" by Steven Curtis Chapman.
The ceremony was followed by a reception given by the bride's parents. Assistants were Shannon Quimby, the bride's aunt; Andrea Quimby, the bride's cousin; and Judy Martin, the bride's grandmother.
The bride graduated from Garden City High School and attended Garden City Community College. A homemaker and stay-at-home mother, she is an independent Scentsy consultant.
The groom attended Garden City High School and is employed by Piland Auto-Dismantling.
The newlyweds are at home in Garden City and are planning a wedding trip at a later date to Pagosa Springs, Colo.
