Jennie Barker Elementary School will be celebrating Agriculture Day today. Students will be coming to school dressed as farmers.

The school has invited area farmers to come and have juice and donuts with the students in the morning, followed by five rotations with different agriculture-based centers starting at 1:45 p.m. The centers will include: FFA students, a farmer will show students a tractor with an implement, another farmer will show students a sprayer, Whitey Whitehill will talk to the students about bees, and there will be a snack center.

Agriculture Day is an effort to remind students that agriculture is a part of all of us.
