Sara Michelle Voran and Trenton Lee Fairbank were united in marriage Sept. 10, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Cimarron. Pastor Michael Keating was the officiating minister for the 4 p.m., double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are David and Shirley Voran of Cimarron. Her grandparents are Pauline Voran of Cimarron; and the late Lester Voran, and Glenn and Hilma Loflin.
Parents of the groom are Rocky and Kimberly Fairbank of Cimarron. His grandparents are Joe D. and Donna Butcher, and Chet and Faye Fairbank, all of Cimarron.
Matron of honor was Laura Roth, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brooke Fairbank, sister of the groom; Ashley Smalley, cousin of the bride; and Ashley Moomaw.
Best man was Stewart Fairbank, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Luke Massoth; James Stuke; Justin Anderson; and Jim Butcher, cousin of the groom.
Candlelighter was Jaden Butcher, cousin of the groom. Flower girls were Macy and Janae Fugitt, cousins of the bride; and Raygan Lattimer and Anistyn Clayton, cousins of the groom. Ringbearer was Breck Butcher, cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Michael Roth, brother-in-law of the bride; Payton Dewey, cousin of the bride; Joe Butcher, cousin of the groom; and Clay Payne.
Anne Gaffney, organist, Glenda Davis, pianist, and Laura Roth, soloist, provided the music. The ceremony coordinators were Cindy Evinger and Jonnalee Salmans.
The scripture reader was Joe D. Butcher, grandfather of the groom. Programs were handed out by the bride's cousins, Hunter and Tanner Dewey and Justin Fugitt. The guest book attendant was Ellen Blattner. Gift attendant was Amanda Peterson.
The ceremony was followed by a reception, dinner and dance at the Knights of Columbus in Dodge City. Assistants were Dea Kreisman, aunt of the groom; Amy Nichols; Ciara Cunningham; and Alexa Latta, cousin of the bride.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Cimarron High School, and received a bachelor's degree in accounting in 2010 and a master's of accountancy degree in 2011 both from Kansas State University. She is working on the CPA exam and is a tax associate with Marks Nelson, LLC in Overland Park.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Cimarron High School, and received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in business administration from Kansas State University in 2010. He is employed as a project design engineer with Mac Process Inc., in Kansas City, Mo.
The couple resides in Lenexa.
