Caley Morgan Onek and Garrett Thomas Love were married July 15, 2011, at Fellowship Bible Church in Topeka. Pastor Joe Hishmeh performed the ceremony, alongside the groom's brother-in-law, Matthew Farmer.
The bride is the daughter of Chad and Cammy Onek of El Dorado. The groom is the son of Greg and Sue Love of Montezuma.
Amy Timken was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Taylor Stands, Lacey Breech, Kristin Willhite, Jenna Seematter and Lisa Ille; and Jenna Farmer and Marisa Love, the groom's sisters.
Austin Love, the groom's brother, was the best man. Groomsmen included Jeremy Logan, Justin Timken, Broc Plattner, Reed Howard and Daniel Berg; and the groom's cousins, Ben Love and Alan Reed.
Ushers were the bride's brothers, Coby and Chayne Onek; and Logan Hedlund, Sean Hayden, Granson Salmans, Reid Petty and Tyler Koehn. Coby was unable to make the wedding because he was deployed to Afghanistan during that time.
Cousin of the groom, Dane Worcester, was the ringbearer. Allie Reed and Kinnley Hoffhines, also cousins of the groom, were the flower girls.
Lacey Smith and Taylor McGown were the candlelighters.
Pianist Jireh Thomas and violinist Jared Thomas, cousins of the groom, performed during both the ceremony and reception. The groom's sisters, Jenna Farmer and Marisa Love, sang "Divine Romance" by Phil Wickam during the ceremony and "We Are Man and Wife" by Michelle Featherstone during the bride and groom's first dance at the reception. The reception was held at Top of the Tower in Topeka.
The bride is a graduate of Washburn University, where she received a bachelor's degree. She plans to attend Fort Hays, where she will pursue a master's degree in business.
The groom is serving in the Kansas legislature as a State Senator and also graduated from Washburn with a bachelor's degree in business.
The newlyweds spent a week in the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon and now reside in Montezuma.
