The 2013-14 theater season is under way at Garden City Community College, and tickets are on sale for the opening production of the year.

"Les Miserables" will debut at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building. Three other performances will follow at 6:30 p .m. Nov. 8 and 9 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10.

Students and community members comprise the more than 65 cast and crew members. This year's production is directed by Phil Hoke, with vocal direction by Clay Wright and music direction by James McAllister.

Tickets are set to go on sale today at the GCCC Fine Arts Office. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors age 65 or older and $8 for children age 17 or younger. Ticket sales are available from 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m Mondays and Wednesdays. and from 7:15 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
