This fall, the Finney County Public Library has made it easy to finish your holiday shopping early.

Look for our coupon in today's paper to receive $10 off a purchase of $50 or more from the Finney County Public Library online bookstore or stop by the library and pick up a coupon at the desk.

Our online bookstore offers a large selection of books, CDs and DVDs at discount prices.

The best thing about doing your holiday shopping at the Finney County Public Library bookstore is that a portion of the profits go back to your library.

Some upcoming events at the library include:

Teen Dance: From 8 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 23, the library will be holding a Halloween dance for middle school and high school teens. A deejay is being provided by Tony Vargas of JamHouse Productions. Costumes are required, and teens must bring either a school ID or be escorted to the door by a parent in order to be admitted.

Twilight Party: At 6 p.m. on Nov. 2, the library will be hosting a Twilight viewing party. Come join your fellow Twilight fans and view the movie based on the Stephanie Meyer book before the sequel comes to theaters.

Photography Exhibit: The library will be hosting a traveling exhibit of photography by F.M. Steele from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15. The exhibit will consist of black and white photographs of local history, including cowboys, combines and frontier small towns. Jim Hoy will be presenting about the exhibit at 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at the library.
