Amanda Pfenninger and Nicholas Doll, both of Garden City, were married Aug. 11, 2012, at Bible Christian Church in Garden City. Pastor Jeff Starkey officiated the 5 p.m., double-ring ceremony.
The bride's parents are Dave and Susan Pfenninger of Garden City. Her grandparents are Sharon and the late J.D. Brewer of Garden City; Jon and Gwen Ramsey of Scott City; and Lee Pfenninger of Scott City.
Parents of the groom are Eric and Shelly Doll of Garden City. He is the grandson of Emanuel and Catherine Doll of Ingalls; and Wilbur and Shirley Wood of Trousdale.
Matron of honor was Katie Mastin of Kingman. Bridesmaids were Kara Yoder of Dodge City; Erica Gillette of Tulsa, Okla.; and Adria Doll of Garden City.
Best man was Lee Wehkamp of Ingalls. Groomsmen were Jace Pfenninger of Loveland, Colo.; Ryan Gillette of Tulsa; and Tanner Parr of Garden City.
Serving as ushers were Wayne Mastin of Kingman; Brett Brewer of Oklahoma City; Kevin Wood of Atchinson; and Kelly King of Garden City.
Gina Parr of Garden City was the organist. Soloists were Mark Rude and Patricia Walters, both of Garden City.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Clarion Inn in Garden City. Assistants were Jennifer Doll and Mary Doll, both of Garden City; Denise Wood of Lewis; and Lori Wood of Trousdale.
The bride graduated from Scott City High School in 2003 and attended Pratt Community College and Fort Hays State University. She farms and ranches with her husband.
The groom graduated from Garden City High School in 2005 and from Fort Hays State University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in animal science. He is a farmer/stockman.
After a wedding trip to Newport Beach, Calif., the newlyweds are at home in Garden City.
